On Friday, August, 13th HELPsource™ Home Care Services held a community celebration to honor the field caregivers who provide personal care assistance, home support and respite services to disabled, ill or homebound senior residents of Philadelphia, Lower Bucks and Eastern Montgomery Counties.
Several area businesses joined HELPsource™ in the “YOU TAKE THE CAKE” festivities. The event was held at QDOBA MEXICAN GRILL, just downstairs from the HELPsource™ offices at the Pavilion, 261 Old York Rd., Jenkintown, Pa. Qdoba graciously donated their space. Balloons and “People are talking about YOU” banners containing glowing testimonials about the HELPsource™ caregivers encircled the restaurant. Everyone enjoyed the burritos!
All afternoon as aides arrived they were presented with goody bags that included a generous gift certificate donated by APPLEBEE’S RESTAURANT, a gift basket donated by THE DAILY GRIND a new Restaurant in the Pavilion , discount coupons donated by SUBWAY and BURLINGTON COAT FACTORY as well as an “I TAKE THE CAKE “crown!

Rosa Sledge was named HELPsource ™HOME HEALTH AIDE of the year for 2009-2010.
Miss Clean Sweep (the longest serving Home Support Aide) was presented to Veronica Whitaker
Awards winners received prizes and gift certificates donated by QDOBA and ACME Markets and HELPsource™.
