Service to the Community

At HELPsource™, we take seriously our responsibility and commitment to the community we serve. We are passionate about our role as a resource for education, disease management and patient safety. We believe that caring for the patient includes caring for their family as well.

As part of this mission, HELPsource™ offers programs, seminars, and educational presentations. We have developed relationships with area Senior Community Centers, Naturally Occurring Retirement Communities (NORCs), Senior Residences and various religion-affiliated Senior programs throughout Philadelphia, Lower Bucks, and Eastern Montgomery Counties.

The HELPsource™ Professional Staff has presented programs on Stroke Prevention, Back Pain, Winter Safety and Fall Prevention, Sleep Apnea, Identity Theft Prevention, Medication Management and Compliance and Nutrition. We have developed games and activities geared specifically to teach seniors about medication compliance, how to ask questions of their physicians, as well as Health Information and Vital Sign journaling.

HELPsource™ also provides on-site blood pressure screenings to the community. We have participated as a corporate sponsor for the Alzheimer’s Association’s Annual Memory Walk, The Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Annual Expo, and Federation and Jewish Family and Children’s Services.

HELPsource&trade Home Health Services is an active member of the Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce. Our Marketing Director is an Ambassador for the Montgomery County Chamber. Our “News You Can Use” newsletter is packed full of helpful advice, Philadelphia, Bucks and Montgomery Counties' community resources and events, recipes, and information from experts in nutrition, medication, physical therapy, and nursing.
